Green front of Iran started its work in 1989 with the aim of protecting the earth .

Mission :

" Promoting the culture of protection and renovation of environment    plus culture of peace and friendship between human and nature through information release in a society."

The main strategy of this organization is social educating and awareness about Sustainable Development issues , because according to GFI students environmental and sustainable development knowledge in Iran is not in good situation .

- Holding 24 education workshops in schools.

- Holding special ceremonies on the occasion of child week in the Iran 6-14 October 2001 and 2002.     

- Education programs on the occasion of Earth Day 22 April 2002.

- Reviewing the context of books for primary schools and giving suggestions to the ministry of education of Iran to improve the environmental issues in the books.

- Preparing six educational packages for students about the following issues.

- Tree plantation campaign east part of Tehran March 2001, 2002.

- Holding 10 workshops for children in different parks of Tehran during August and September.

- Preparing youth declaration (Young representative of NGOs ) for sending to GYF-Denmark –March 2002.

- Proposing the establishment of Green schools to Minister of Education August 2002.

1-    Training forchildren and youth in zone 7 of Tehran.

2-     Making relationship and awareness among families in the region .

3-     Finding the environmental problrms in this region.

4-     Finding the visual pollutions in the region.
